Report on conducting the investigations of the �Uro-Biofon� apparatus use on the base of self-supporting department of the Saint-Petersburg Municipal Skin-Venereological Dispensary.

The �Uro-Biofon� apparatus was used from the September 15, 1999 to December 15, 1999. As the apparatus was used for not a long time we can�t present the results of treating the patients who have just ended or are ending the course of treating.

Tables are applied to the report, where the patients are listed. These patients have passed the course of treatment and after definite time (not less than 4 weeks) the first recovery inspection.

Our conclusions:

On the base of not many observations in conducting the patients on the background of the etiotropic treating using the �Uro-Biofon� the positive dynamics in the process of treating the patients was observed, and namely, faster resolution of the clinical signs (colic, excretions, discomfort, burnings) in comparison with the control group.
At nonspecific urogenital processes the positive dynamics in using the �Uro-Biofon� without the antibacterial preparations was observed.
Some patients with often recidivating genital herpes in using the �Uro-Biofon� without classic antiherpetic remedies have got sighifical decrease of the pain syndrome, active epithelization.
Side effects in using the �Uro-Biofon� apparatus were absent. Dynamics of the attendant diseases was not found.
The �Uro-Biofon� using allowed to decrease the number of courses of the antibacterial preparations from 3 to 2 (at chlamydiosis).
We think that the indicator is needed for the apparatus to inspect the IR radiation (availability).
