Uro-Biophon apparatus used in complex therapy of chlamydiasis infectionR.M.Zagritdinova, E.A.Batkaev, E.V.Lipova, V.A.Merzlyakov, N.Yu. Bychkova The Izhevsk State Medical Academy Sub-faculty of Dermatovenereology RMAPO Republican Dermatovenereologic Dispensary (Udmurtia) We have examined 3100 patients with urogenital chlamydiasis on treatment in Udmurt Republican dermatovenereologic dispensary. Among patients, 1650 were women and 1550 – men, predominantly sexual pairs. The average age of the patients was equal to 28.5 years (18-45 years old). 1201 men had clinical signs of active urogenital infection: 50% of men with anterior urethritis; 40% - with total urethritis; 16% - with orchiepididymitis; 30% - with prostatitis and 5% with prostatovesiculitis. The clinical signs of the female diseases were observed in 1328 cases: 60% with cervicitis; 39% with urethritis; 7% with bartholinitis; 16% with endometritis; 47% with salpingitis. The duration of illness ranged from 3 months to 13 years (on the average 2.6 years). There were evidences to antibiotic therapy of the urogenital tract in the anamnesis (medical history) of 1922 patients (62%). The etiological diagnosis of chlamydiasis was determined by examination of mucous coat scrapes of the urethra and the cervical canal by direct immunofluorescence method with monoclonal antibodies “ChlaMonoScreen” of Niarmedic company (íèàðìåäèí) and by the reaction of immunofermental analysis for the group specific immunoglobulins of M and G classes in the blood serum. (Joint stock company “Vector Best”). The topical diagnosis was provided by urethroscopy, palpation examination of the prostate and the seminal vesicle with investigation of their secretion, test of urea in volume of 2 beakers for men, bimanual examination of women, ultrasonic investigation of the pelvis organs. The total analysis of blood and urea as well as the biochemical analysis of blood (functional tests of liver, blood sugar) were prescribed. The “Uro-Biophon” monotherapy (20 sessions) was provided for 2150 patients; combined treatment: antibiotic therapy (sumamed, rovamycin, rulid) over a period of 14 days as well as 14-20 sessions of therapy using the “Uro-Biophon” apparatus was performed for 950 patients. 2853 (92%) patients were checked for recovery in 3-4 weeks after the basic therapy. After monotherapy 1950 patients (80%) were examined; negative results were obtained for 1248 patients (64%); positive results were in 702 cases (36%). Among 903 patients examined after combined therapy the results of immunofermental analysis reaction and direct immunofluorescence method were negative in 887 cases (98%) and positive – in 16 cases (2%). The data obtained will allow to recommend the apparatus to be used in the complex therapy of chlamydiasis infection. |
